My Lucky Baltimore Ravens Scarf and Hat

Well as you probably already know the Baltimore Ravens are going to the Superbowl. I can honestly say I don't have a clue about football. My friend is a Raven Maniac! She has been trying to get me to watch for years to no avail.

You may also know that Baltimore fans luv, luv luv the Baltimore Ravens. They are ride or die fans, meaning they support their team whether they win or lose. It's an awesome thing to watch Baltimore fans support of our team. I mean they go all out. Ravens memorabilia, clothing and anything purple is all you see during football season.

Anywho, I promised her I would get on board this year. To get me up to speed I watched several You Tube videos on how the game is played. Oh, now I somewhat get it! I'll keep studying and watching. I also created my own Baltimore Ravens fashion. The fleece boa is nothing new, you see them all around town. However, no one was wearing my fleece hat. I made one for my friend and myself. I was stopped by so many Ravens fans asking where did I get it. Of course, I was proud to say I made it! So guess what my female Baltimore Ravens fans got for a late Christmas gift. You guessed it!

So I wore, what I call my lucky Baltimore Ravens hat and scarf to a friends home to watch my 1st football game, the AFC championship game. Usually, when football is on, I'm sewing. I needed to test what I learned from watching the You Tube tutorial. I must admit, I had a blast cheering for our Baltimore Ravens! The best part was we WON, we're going to the Superbowl. My hat and scarf really was lucky!

  1. Even though your Ravens clearly outplayed my Patriots in that game (and I am on the same page as you are, when it comes to football - I understand it and enjoy it when the team is in the playoffs, but I am a baseball fan, myself...) your hat is fabulous and a terrific addition to the boa. Wear them proudly and enjoy the Super Bowl!
