I have been a licensed instructor of You Can Make It for several years. Those of you who have taken Sewing 1 with me at Hooven Sewing have been taught this method of sewing. The You Can Make It sewing series says " WE TEACH YOU A SKILL... NOT JUST A PROJECT®".
For those of you who had me as an instructor at Joann Fabrics, you have rec'd handouts from the YCMI program. The YCMI program is a comprehensive sewing program that:
1) teaches the appropriate sewing technique at the right time
2) builds upon your existing sewing skills, level by level
3) is detailed
4) gives you several pattern options to choose from
5) provides professional class handouts/booklets/patches
6) provides a DVD/VHS tapes to support classroom instruction
7) will be taught exclusively at the The Sassy Sewer, along with creative classes
